PLAYING AGE
Playing Age can be tricky to determine depending on the season. For Spring season, the birthday cutoff date (the "Age of Determination") is January 1 of year the season will take place. Spring season is the easier of the two to determine playing age because we simply use birth year.
For Fall season, the birthday cutoff date is August 1 of the year when the season will be played. This is a bit more challenging and confusing because there are three birth years in play.
